Libyan Business Council receives Spanish trade delegation.

Tripoli, January 7, 2025 (LANA) - The Libyan Business Council received, at its headquarters in Tripoli, the first Spanish trade delegation to visit Libya in 11 years, within the framework of enhancing cooperation between agricultural companies between the two countries.
The council explained in a statement, that the meeting witnessed face-to-face meetings between Spanish companies and their Libyan counterparts from companies and institutions related to the agricultural sector, where discussions were held on opportunities for partnership and cooperation in the field of agricultural equipment, modern technologies and investments in the Libyan agricultural sector.
The Libyan Business Council also organized a field visit program for the Spanish delegation, including a number of nurseries and model farms, with the aim of learning about the agricultural reality in Libya and exploring the possibilities of technology transfer and developing agricultural production.
The statement indicated, that this visit comes within the context of the efforts of the Libyan Business Council to support development and enhance international partnerships.
