Arrest of a gang in Al-Karimiyah, south of Tripoli, that specializes in stealing sheep.

Tripoli, January 6, 2025 (LANA) - The General Security Service and security centers arrested a gang that steals sheep and gas cylinders in the areas of Al-Karimiyah, Al-Suwani, and Al-Aziziyah, south of the capital, Tripoli.

According to the Ministry of Interior, members of the Force and Support Administration were able, after accurate investigations and information gathering, to overthrow the gang and arrest its members in the Al-Karimiyah area.

The members of the gang confessed to committing several thefts, and revealed other operations they carried out in Al-Aziziyah.

The necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, and they were referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigations and take the necessary judicial measures, according to the ministry.
