Guterres: Everyone will benefit from Libya, while it enjoys peace.

New York, February 1, 2025 (LANA) - The Secretary-General of the United Nations, "Antonio Guterres", sent a message to the countries interfering in the Libyan affair, urging them to stop interfering in Libya, considering that "it is better for everyone to have a Libya that enjoys peace."

"Guterres" said in an interview with "Al-Arabiya Channel" broadcast yesterday, Friday ((Other countries interfering in Libya to protect their interests must realize that it is better to have a Libya that enjoys peace; because everyone will benefit)).

The Secretary-General of the United Nations stressed the need for "a Libya in which the Libyans can choose their leaders."

He said, "I think it is important for those in power to realize that this situation does not justify maintaining and prolonging matters."
