Libyan and Qatari Transport Ministers sign an update agreement.

Doha, February 01, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Transport in the Government of National Unity, "Mohammed Salem Al-Shahoubi", and his Qatari counterpart, "Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani", on Thursday, signed an update to the air services agreement signed between the two countries on April 28, 2004.

The Qatari Ministry of Transport said in a statement that the update to the agreement, which was signed at the headquarters of the Qatari Ministry of Transport, aims to amend its provisions to become more flexible and compatible with recent developments in the field of civil aviation.

The ministry stressed that this step comes within the framework of the two countries' efforts to support and strengthen relations in the field of air transport through new air services agreements.

The two ministers also reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries in the fields of transport and communications, civil aviation, and various air transport activities, and discussed ways to enhance and develop them.
