Riyadh, January 31, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation "Ali Al-Abed" stressed the keenness of the Government of National Unity to provide a safe and stable work environment for all expatriate workers, ensuring their rights in accordance with Libyan and international laws.

This came during his meeting in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the Philippine Minister of Labor, Hans Leo Cacdac, on the sidelines of the second edition of the International Labor Market Conference.

For his part, the Philippine Minister praised the facilities provided by Libya to resolve the pending files of Filipino workers after 2011, stressing his country's keenness to enhance cooperation in the field of vocational training, in a way that serves the interests of both sides.

According to the Ministry of Labor, the meeting discussed the conditions of Filipino workers in Libya and ways to settle their legal status.
