Al-Abed participates in the International Labor Market Conference in Riyadh.

Riyadh, January 29, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed Al-Ridha, participated today in the activities of the second edition of the International Labor Market Conference (GLMC 2025), which is held under the slogan "The Future of Work", on January 29 and 30 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the participation of labor ministers from 45 countries.

The conference discusses a number of main axes, most notably: enhancing decent job opportunities and providing sustainable work environments, developing skills and competencies to keep pace with the requirements of changing labor markets, empowering women economically, and digital transformation in various fields of work.

In his speech during the opening session, Al-Abed stressed the importance of these axes in promoting sustainable development and ensuring decent work for all, praising the steps taken by the Ministry of Labor in regulating the labor market through the "Al-Wafeed Platform" and "Workers' Housing" initiatives.
