Tripoli, January 29, 2025 (LANA) - The General Assembly of the General Company for Paper and Printing held its meeting for the year 2025 this morning, Wednesday, headed by the Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development in the Government of National Unity "Mabrouka Togui".

The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the General Authority for Press, "Abdul Razzaq Al-Dahesh", the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan News Agency, "Abdul Basit Ahmed Abu-Dayia", and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, the acting General Manager, "Al-Mabrouk Al-Harama", reviewed the administrative, financial and legal matters of the company, the workflow and conditions of employees, and ways to support and develop them in line with modern technologies and what the labor market and competition require in the fields of printing and advertising.

The attendees discussed the agenda items, including (restructuring the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Authority - reorganizing the company in terms of the specializations open to it and discussing it - approving the financial statements and general budgets of the company - the administrative structure - the organizational study - divisions of departments and offices according to the internal organization of the company - health insurance for employees - appointing an external auditor to audit the company's accounts).

The participants in the meeting, which was held at the company's headquarters in Tripoli, reached a number of decisions, including forming a new Board of Directors, the Supervisory Authority, approving and adopting the financial statements and general budget of the company from 2006 to 2019, and appointing an external auditor for the company.

The meeting assigned the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company - the acting General Manager, "Al-Mabrouk Al-Harama", to develop a proposal for the organizational structures and divisions of departments and offices, and the work plan of the new administration and to activate its management for the benefit of the workers, and in a way that serves the nation and the citizen.
