Dar es Salaam, January 28, 2025 (LANA) - The African Heads of State Summit on Energy kicked off in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, today, Tuesday, with the participation of Presidential Council Chairman Mohamed Al-Mnifi.
The summit is being held under the slogan "Lighting Africa: The Transformative Power of Mission 300", an initiative by the African Development Bank Group and the World Bank Group, in cooperation with the African Union.
The summit aims to promote the Mission 300 initiative, which seeks to provide energy to 300 million people in Africa by 2030, in order to contribute to overcoming the energy crisis that affects about 600 million Africans.
