Dbaiba meets with the Canadian ambassador.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 11, 2024 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, met today, Wednesday, at the Prime Minister's Office, with the Canadian Ambassador to Libya, Isabelle Saffard.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between Libya and Canada in various fields, especially with regard to granting visas to Libyan citizens and facilitating their procedures.
According to the government's media office, the two sides discussed the importance of enhancing economic cooperation and the role of Canadian companies in supporting development and infrastructure projects in Libya.
For her part, the Canadian ambassador stressed her country's keenness to strengthen relations with Libya and its readiness to support efforts aimed at achieving stability and development in the country.
The two parties stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination to develop bilateral cooperation in a way that serves the interests of the two countries.
