Khoury meets Chinese Chargé d'Affaires.

Tunis, December 07, 2024 (LANA) - The Acting Head of the United Nations Mission in Libya, Stephanie Khoury, and the Chinese Chargé d'Affaires Liu Jian affirmed the harmony of the international community's position and its support for the efforts of the United Nations and the importance of unifying and strengthening state institutions.

This came during Khoury's meeting with the Chinese Chargé d'Affaires in Tunisia today, Saturday, according to a statement by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.

Khoury discussed with Jian, according to the mission, the main elements of the political process and the importance of securing broad national consensus for a process led by the Libyans and facilitated by the United Nations.
