Tripoli, December 06, 2024 (LANA) - Heavy rains in the city of Tripoli caused a landslide along Ain Zara Road, south of the capital, near the Fatra Mosque.
The Tripoli Security Directorate said early Friday that the competent authorities are following up on the situation and are working to assess the damage.
The Traffic Affairs Office called on drivers to be careful while driving.
The western coast region, passing through the capital, Tripoli, is witnessing heavy rains as a result of a low pressure system centered on the region until Saturday, which caused some main roads to be flooded with water, some vehicles to sink, and traffic to be disrupted.
