Al-Manfi and Dabaiba discuss developments in the political scene and ending the transitional stages

Tripoli, December 3, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, met today, Tuesday, with the Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba.

During the meeting, Al-Manfi and Al-Dabaiba exchanged views on the latest developments in the political scene at the local and international levels, according to the government's "Our Government" platform.

The two parties discussed unifying efforts to end the transitional stages and the immediate transition towards implementing elections, stressing the need to continue working to remove obstacles to stability.

Al-Manfi and Al-Dabaiba reviewed the possible alternatives and proposals that can be presented to the Libyans to express their opinion and participate in determining the optimal path.

The two parties renewed their commitment to continuous coordination between national institutions to maintain and enhance the state of stability, paving the way for achieving free and fair elections that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people to build a prosperous and secure future.
