The Libyan Intelligence Service condemns the kidnapping of one of its members.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, November 7, 2024 (LANA) - The Libyan Intelligence Service condemned the kidnapping, assault and restriction of freedom of one of its members, an officer and a director of one of its departments, which poses a threat to his safety, terrorizes his family, harms the agency and threatens all its employees, according to a statement issued by the agency today, Thursday.
The agency said in its statement that this act is a crime punishable by law in Libya, and that those who committed it will be brought to justice by the Libyan justice system.
The agency warned the kidnappers against continuing to restrict the freedom of the kidnapped person or threatening his safety, pledging to make every effort to ensure his safe return.
In a statement, members of the Central Security Department and Branch Affairs of the agency condemned the kidnapping of the director of the department, Brigadier General Mustafa Ali Al-Wahishi, holding the kidnappers fully legally responsible for the consequences of the kidnapping.
