Al-Nafti reiterates Tunisia's firm position, which is based on a Libyan-Libyan solution.
Pulbished on:Tunis, October 14, 2024 (LANA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, reiterated the firm position of President Kais Saied, which is based on the need to reach a Libyan-Libyan solution that strengthens Libya's unity and preserves its security, sovereignty and stability with the help of the United Nations.
This came during Nafti's reception today, Monday, of the Libyan Ambassador to Tunisia, Mustafa Qadara, who renewed Libya's congratulations during the meeting on the election of President Kais Saied for a new presidential term and gaining the confidence and support of the Tunisian people to continue his reform and development project, which will enhance Tunisia's position and status on the regional and international arenas, according to the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Qadara stressed the Libyan side's keenness to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields and facilitate economic activity between the two countries.
In turn, Nafti stressed during the meeting the depth and strength of the historical fraternal ties that unite the two countries and the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations by overcoming all the difficulties they face in preparation for the upcoming major bilateral events.
