Al-Jofra September 21, 2024 (LANA) - A team affiliated with the Criminal Investigation Department of the Al-Jofra Security Directorate was able to arrest a gang of three people who stole gold jewelry and money from a house in the city of Sokna.
The Security Media Office of the Directorate stated that the criminal investigation team moved to the scene of the incident after receiving a complaint from a citizen that his house was robbed to inspect the crime scene, take fingerprints, and collect information and investigations about the people who committed the robbery.
He explained that through these procedures, the perpetrators were identified and arrested within forty-eight hours, and they had some jewelry and money in their possession, indicating that investigations are still ongoing to find out the location of the rest of the money and jewelry, and they will be referred to the Public Prosecution upon completion of the investigations.
