Tunisia, September 20, 2024 (LANA) - Libya participated in the first forum for young researchers in Arab cultural heritage, organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in Tunisia, from (17 to 19) September.

The State of Libya was represented by the Cultural Counselor at the Libyan Embassy in Tunisia, Ekhlas Al-Zaghrat.

The forum discussed a wide range of issues related to preserving Arab cultural heritage, including the challenges it faces at the local and international levels, best practices in the field of research and documentation, and the importance of the role of youth in protecting heritage.

The forum aims to provide a platform for young researchers from various Arab countries to exchange experiences and ideas, and enhance joint cooperation in the field of protecting cultural heritage. It also seeks to encourage young people to participate effectively in research and studies related to heritage, and to develop innovative projects that contribute to its preservation and dissemination.
