The deportation of more than a hundred migrants with serious illnesses from Tobrok.
Pulbished on:Tobruk, September 16, 2024 (LANA) - The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency, Tobrok branch, announced the deportation of 121 illegal immigrants of different nationalities, some of whom are suffering from serious illnesses.
According to the agency, the deported migrants hold Egyptian, Syrian, Sudanese, Pakistani and Chadian nationalities, noting that the number of those infected with viral hepatitis is 18 cases, and there are two cases infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (AIDS).
The deportation process took place, according to the agency, through the Emsaed port for Egyptian immigrants, and through Benina Airport for the rest of the nationalities, in continuation of efforts to combat the phenomenon of illegal immigration, especially in light of the health challenges and diseases carried by immigrants.
