Selecting Libya to be the 23rd Turkish-Arab Economic Cooperation Summit's honorary guest in Istanbul.

Tripoli, 5 September 2024 (Lana), Government of National Unity (GNU) announced Libya has been chosen as the guest of honor at the 23rd Turkish-Arab Economic Cooperation Summit, in which more than 150 specialized companies and more than 300 experts in various medical areas are participating.

This came during the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, in the opening of the forum held in Istanbul, the second exhibition for medical and therapeutic tourism, and the second exhibition for cosmetics and medical equipment, organized by the Joint Cooperation Association for Turkish and Arab Countries, "Turap Expo," according to GNU’s Facebook page today.

During his remark, Abu Janah expressed his aspiration for the success of the forum in expanding the cooperation and partnership and enhancing innovation in the health area between the participating countries, which contributes to improving health services and raising the quality of life for citizens.

The opening session witnessed the participation of more than 700 people, with the attendance of a number of Arab ambassadors and consuls in Turkey, heads of chambers of commerce and Arab countries, businessmen, doctors, and specialists in the health and medical tourism sector.
