Tripoli, July 2, 2024 (Lana): Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Berndt, discussed with Audit Bureau Chairman Khaled Shakshak the importance of the Libyan Audit Bureau’s oversight role and technocratic independence.

"We also explored opportunities to build on USAID technical assistance to increase the Audit Bureau’s capacity and support its modernization efforts,” Berndt said in a tweet by the U.S. Embassy.
