A truck loaded with smuggled fuel was seized on its way to the southern border.

Tripoli, June 13, 2024 (LANA) - Yesterday, Wednesday, the Public Security Service patrols and security posts, the Western Mountain Branch, were able to thwart a huge smuggling operation of a truck carrying fuel to the southern border.
The agency said that the truck was loaded with about 50,000 liters of smuggled fuel, to be sold outside Libya, noting that the smugglers used flour bags to hide the fuel tanks.
The agency pointed out that this security achievement represents a strong blow to smuggling operations that harm the national economy and threaten the country's security.
