Rabat, 10 June 2024 (Lana): The GNU Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Hessa, discussed yesterday with his Saudi counterpart, Bandar Al-Kharif, ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the area of industry and minerals on the sidelines of the 28th session of the General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), held in Rabat, Morocco.

The communication office of the Ministry stated that the two parts discussed exchange experiences, developing strategic partnerships to support the industrial sector in both countries, available investment opportunities, and how to benefit from national resources and modern technologies to advance industrial development.

The two sides agreed to form a joint working team to coordinate and set a framework for industrial cooperation in both countries to implement a joint strategy to develop industrial sectors, exchange experiences and technologies, and stimulate mutual investments in a way that contributes to advancing economic development in both countries.

They also stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation to achieve common interests and develop the industrial sector in line with the development goals of both countries.
