Tripoli, June 5, 2024 (Lana): The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq El-Kabeer, met yesterday in his office with the CEO of the Solidarity Fund at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dr. Heba Ahmed, and the accompanying delegation, as well as the representative of the IsDB in Libya.

The bank said on its official website today that the meeting comes within the framework of the CBL's efforts to enhance the role of the private sector and activate the role of institutions concerned with supporting small and medium projects, in continuation of a series of meetings, discussions, and joint studies that took place between the CBL and the technical and advisory team from the IsDB and the Libyan institutions specialized in supporting projects to take practical steps to establish the Solidarity Endowment Fund.
