Al-Dbaiba welcomes Biden's proposal to stop the war in Gaza.

Tripoli, June 2, 2024 (Lana): The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Al-Dbaiba, welcomed the proposal of U.S. President Joe Biden and his plan, which includes stopping the war in the Gaza Strip in a sustainable manner.

Al-Dabaiba said in a post on the Prime Minister’s Media Office page, “I welcome what was stated in President Biden’s proposal and his plan, which includes stopping the war in the Gaza Strip in a sustainable manner, which also includes the withdrawal of the occupation forces, the exchange of hostages, in addition to the return of the people of Gaza to their areas and neighborhoods throughout the Strip, and its reconstruction, which is consistent with our positions and endeavors calling for all of this," Al-Dbaiba said in the communication office's Facebook page of the PM.

 “At a time when we call on the international community to support this proposal with full seriousness, and for it to enter into force as soon as possible, in order to alleviate the suffering of our brotherly Palestinian people, we call for a clear mechanism to monitor its implementation and ensure its proper conduct, in a way that ensures the war does not renew," PM added.
