Al-Dabaiba holds consultations with Arab leaders on the sidelines of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum.

Beijing, May 30, 2024 (LANA) - Today, Thursday, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, held consultations with a number of Arab presidents and foreign ministers in Beijing on the sidelines of his participation in the work of the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum.

Al-Dabaiba’s meetings with Arab leaders, according to the media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, discussed issues and crises in the region, and focused on bilateral relations.

The President of the Republic of China, Xi Jin Ping, received Al-Dabaiba during the opening of the forum as one of the guests of honor, accompanied by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, Tunisian President Kais Saied, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, and Bahrain King Sheikh Hamad bin Issa.

In turn, the Chinese President, in the opening speech of the session, praised the depth of Arab-Chinese relations at all levels, stressing China’s position regarding what is happening in Gaza, pointing to the necessity of a ceasefire, the entry of aid and ensuring the rights of the Palestinian people.
