Competition for the first Libyans to memorize the Holy Qur’an kicks-off.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, May 18, 2024 (LANA) - The first session of the competition for the top Libyans in memorizing the Holy Qur’an began at the Bab al-Bahr Hotel in Tripoli today, Saturday, which brings together the memorizers who achieved first places in local and international competitions.
The head of the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Abani, confirmed that the competition organized by the authority brings together at the table of the Holy Qur’an an elite group of those who honored the country in international forums from the east and west of the earth during two decades by obtaining the first rankings.
During the morning and evening periods, the jury listened to a number of contestants in the competition, which continues for 6 days.
