Public Prosecution orders the imprisonment of an official in the Social Security Office .

Tripoli, May 18, 2024 (WALA) - The Public Prosecution in the Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the pretrial detention of ah official at the Social Security Office - Al-Naqaza branch, on charges of seizing an amount of (15) thousand dinars in exchange for paying the price of a contract for services provided by one of the implementation tools contracted with it.
He explained that the investigator came to understand that the official had deviated from the rules governing the management of public funds allocated to insured persons, by conspiring with others to authorize financial transactions for the benefit of people who deliberately falsified citizenship data, which resulted in them receiving pensions corresponding to those data without right.
