Return of flights from Sabha Airport to Cairo and Alexandria.

Sabha, May 18, 2024 (LANA) - The Ministry of Transportation, the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority, and the General Administration of the African Airlines Company were able to obtain the necessary permits to operate regular flights from Sabha Airport to Cairo and Alexandria airports.

This step comes after a years-long cessation of flights between Sabha and Egypt, which caused great difficulties for residents of the south who were forced to travel to other cities to reach Egypt.

The new agreement will guarantee the scheduling of regular and continuous flights between Sabha, Cairo and Alexandria, which will make it easier for travelers to move between the two countries.

The Commercial Administration, through its operational plans, seeks to expand its flight network to include other stations and cities in the near future, in order to meet the needs of travelers and provide more travel options.
