Medical supply stores in the Eastern Province receive a shipment of dialysis machines.

Tripoli, May 16, 2024 (LANA) - The General Administration of the Medical Supply System in Tripoli announced the sending of dialysis operators to supply the dialysis centers and departments spread in the eastern region with their needs for the necessary operators.

The administration indicated that the package was delivered through representatives of the agency’s warehouses, the Eastern Region branch, to be sent overland via special trucks for transporting medicines and medical supplies.

In a related context, the warehouses of the General Administration of the Medical Supply Authority in the capital, Tripoli, received a shipment of “Contrast Media,” used in imaging in radiology departments in health facilities, and a shipment of materials used in developing films in diagnostic radiology and magnetic resonance departments in hospitals and medical centers.

This comes within the framework of implementing the public tender to ensure the provision of pharmaceutical items according to the needs of the Libyan state, and this is a culmination of the efforts of the Ministry of Health of the National Unity Government in addressing the state’s public tender file, which has been stalled since 2009, with the follow-up of the Deputy Prime Minister of the National Unity Government - Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jannah.
