NOC restores production at 9 oil wells.

Tripoli, May 13, 2024 (Lana): The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced the reactivation of nine previously shut-in oil wells at the Sarir oil field, with a total production of about 4000 barrels of crude oil per day.
The NOC stated in its statement yesterday that teams of Gulf Arab Oil Company accomplished precise repairs in a remarkably short period. As a result of these, nine wells were brought back online to implement the NOC’s plan to increase production.
The repairs included fixing faults in the high-voltage electricity network that powers four wells (C-178, C-221A, C-227, C-242), which had ceased operations. Additionally, the teams addressed leaks in the flow lines of four other wells (C-82, C128, C-264, C348) and completed electrical and mechanical connections for well C-309.
