OPEC: Libya is the first largest oil producer in Africa.

Tripoli, April 13, 2024 (LANA) - The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced, that Libya occupied first place as the largest oil producer in Africa, with a production of 1.24 million barrels of oil per day.
A report issued by the organization explained that with this daily production, Libya has surpassed Nigeria, which was in first place, due to Libya’s efforts to increase production to two million barrels per day by the year 2030 and 2.3 million barrels per day by the end of this year.
