Islamabad, April 11, 2024 (LANA) - Yesterday, Wednesday, Pakistan called on the UN Security Council to take appropriate steps to ensure the implementation, in letter and spirit, of its Resolution No. (2728) calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
In his speech before the General Assembly, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, stressed the need for the 15-member Council to impose an “immediate ban” on the export of weapons and ammunition to the Zionist entity, and to hold it responsible for its crimes.
