U.S. Embassy announces its intention to finance proposals for cultural projects in Libya, ranging from $10,000 to $500,000.

Tripoli, November 25, 2023 (Lana) The U.S. Embassy in Libya announced its intention to fund proposals for cultural projects that contribute to the preservation of Libyan archaeological sites, with a value ranging from $10,000 to $500,000.

According to an announcement by the US Embassy, Lana received a copy of the 2024 US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) grant program, which funds project proposals ranging in value from $10,000 to $500,000 that contribute to the preservation of archaeological sites, buildings, historical monuments, museums, and forms of traditional cultural expression in Libya.

In its announcement, the US Embassy set the deadline for submitting project proposals as January 5, 2024.
