UNSMIL holds a workshop on the rule of law in Libyan prisons.

Tripoli, November 22, 2023 (Lana) The UNSMIL organized a two-day workshop on the rule of law in Libyan prisons for 30 officers from different departments of the Judicial Police.
“The workshop covered international standards on detention, the rights of prisoners, the use of force and prevention of torture, crisis management, and contingency planning," UNSMIL said on its Facebook page.
According to the same source, the workshop was part of an ongoing training program aimed at strengthening the capacities of prison officers in the Judicial Police Department.
