Tripoli, November 12, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Al-Dabaiba, met today, Sunday, with the committee to follow up on the reconstruction of the municipality of Murzuq, in the presence of the Minister of State for the Affairs of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Adel Jumaa, and the spokesman for the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Mohamed Hamouda. And Assistant General Manager of Distribution at the General Electricity Company.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that "Dabaiba" stressed the necessity of the General Electricity Company implementing the targeted works in the city and supporting the management council in the urgent projects that were listed, stressing the importance of cooperation with the organizations (USAID) and (UNDP) in implementing joint programs and ensuring the return of the people to their homes according to a specific time frame.

For his part, the Minister of Local Government and Chairman of the Murzuq Municipality Reconstruction Committee presented a position on the inventory work and the timetable for implementing a number of projects in coordination with the Murzuq Administrative Council, based on the General Electricity Company’s implementation of the necessary works identified by the formed technical committees, in addition to the results of the inventory and conformity work of the committee in charge from the Public Prosecution Office, which will be relied upon to implement priority projects to restore life to the city.
