Tripoli, November 7, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, met, on Tuesday, in his office, with the Chairman and members of the founding committee of the African Investment Bank.
The committee provided the Chairman of the Presidential Council with a briefing on the work and efforts of the founding committee of the African Investment Bank, and handed him a comprehensive file on the strategy and plan for communication with African countries.
The President praised the efforts of the committee, stressing that its work is considered a national work par excellence by preserving the gains of the Libyan state on the African continent.
The African Investment Bank is one of three financial institutions affiliated with the African Union (AU), along with the African Monetary Fund and the African Central Bank, headquartered in Tripoli.
