Tripoli, October 29, 2023 (LANA) - The Libyan News Agency correspondent in the city of Gharyan reported that clashes with heavy and medium weapons occurred at dawn today, Sunday, in the city center, resulting in the killing of two people in the city center and wounding four others.
The local authorities or the military and security authorities in the city did not provide any details about these clashes and their parties.
On the other hand, the administration of Gharyan University called on all its members not to be present at the university’s headquarters and to stop exams and work, until the clashes stop.
The reporter confirmed that the city is currently witnessing a cautious calm, with intermittent bursts of gunfire being heard from time to time.
