Tripoli, August 13, 2023 (Lana): The UNSMIL met with representatives of Libyan youths from across the country to discuss the challenges of implementing sustainable development goals.
The UNSMIL said in a tweet today that the aim of the meeting is to listen to and encourage the ideas of youths in Libya on the occasion of International Youth Day, which is on August 12.
The meeting was attended by representatives from UNICEF and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, and they highlighted the challenges around education, reducing inequality, and promoting peace and unified institutions.
The meeting also identified solutions and new ways to help implement the sustainable development goals in Libya.
