HCS condemns the visit of Al-Abed and Al-Raed to occupied Palestine.

Tripoli 28 February 2023 (Lana) The High Council of State "HCS", condemned the visit of Libyan officials, including the Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, and a member of the House of Representatives, head of the Chamber of Trade and Industry Mohammed Al-Raed, to occupied Palestine.

The council, in a statement yesterday on its Facebook, stressed its clear position regarding standing with Palestinians to alleviate the burdens of the occupation on them, explaining that entering the occupied West Bank requires permission from the occupation authorities, which the Council categorically rejects, considering that it is not Justifiable.

The Council expressed its fear that these visits would be a test of the pulse of the Libyan people, and a preface to other stages of dealing with the Israeli entity, according to the statement.

At the conclusion of its statement, the Council called on all the political institutions and social components to take a firm stand against these acts, which it described as disgraceful.
