Addis Ababa 19 February 2023 (Lana) Deputy of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met yesterday, in the Ethiopian capital Secretary-General of the UN, António Guterres, and the Presidential Council stated on its SMS page that Guterres, during the meeting held on the sidelines of the African Summit in Addis Ababa, commended the efforts of the Presidential Council in leading reconciliation file, expressing his aspiration for the council to play its role in a comprehensive political process, based on national ownership and leading to presidential and parliamentary elections.

Al-Lafi had met with Guterres after the session held by the High-level Committee of the African Union on Libya, last Friday, which discussed the national reconciliation file, according to the Presidential Council.
