Norland assures Al-Menfi America's support for the Presidential Council in the National Reconciliation project.

Tripoli 24 January 2023 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, received a phone call from the US Special Envoy to Libya, Ambassador, Richard Norland.
According to the media communication office of the Presidential Council, they discussed the steps taken by Al-Menfi to break the political stalemate, and advance the political process through his recent meetings, to achieve the hopes of Libyan to hold the elections as soon as possible.
Norland stressed the support of the US for the Presidential Council in the national reconciliation project and the progress it has done in the preparatory forum that was held during the last few years.
