The Executive Council of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) cancels the accumulated debts of Libya, amounting to (20) million dinars.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 12, 2022 (LANA) - The Executive Council of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) approved the decision to drop the accumulated debts of the State of Libya, which amount to approximately twenty million Libyan dinars.
This came during the 109th meeting of the "OPEC" Council of Ministers, which was held today, Monday, at the organization's headquarters in the State of Kuwait, in the presence of the Minister of Oil and Gas, "Mohammed Emhamed Aoun," accompanied by the representative of Libya to the Executive Council of the Organization, Counselor "Adel Faraj Jibril," according to what the Ministry of Oil published on its Facebook page.
The attendees discussed the agenda presented to the meeting and decisions were taken regarding many issues, including approving the organization's budget for the next year and discussing work to re-study the organization's charter and working to upgrade it to an organization that deals with all energies, including renewable energies.
