The Electricity Company discusses with the French Total setting up of solar energy projects in Libya.

Tripoli, 7 December 2022 (Lana) The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Electricity Company, "Mohamed Al-Mashai", discussed with the French ‘Total Energies’ company for oil production and alternative energy regional director, "Piscal Print", prospects of cooperation and ways to activate the project to localize 500 MW with solar energy and connect it to the grid as the first environmentally friendly alternative energy project to be established in Libya.
The meeting, which was attended by members of the company's board of directors and directors of the company's technical departments, also dealt with the possibility of upgrading joint cooperation by establishing other projects according to a set plan and a specific period of time.
