 Washington, 18 October 2022 (Lana) The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al Siddiq Al Kabir, held a number of meetings with Marwan Abbasi, Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Abdul Rahman Al Hmaidi, Director General of the Arab Monetary Fund, and a number of experts from the Maghreb and Africa. The meetings took place at the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.

During these meetings, they discussed supporting integration in the field of payment systems and settlements, promoting inter-Arab and African trade, supporting the accession to the "Banna" platform for Arab payments and systems of settlements and payments between African countries, and joint efforts to activate the "PayPal" service in Libya and Tunisia.
