Loss of contact with four Libyan hunters, Chadian television presents them as illegal intruders.
Pulbished on:Ajdabiya, 12 September, 2022 (Lana) - Families from the city of Ajdabiya announced the loss of contact with their four sons who went out on a hunting trip in the desert of southeastern Libya several days ago.
Chadian satellite television had shown pictures of the four Libyans detained by the security authorities, describing them as illegal infiltrators and that they were hunting wild deer and attacking Chadian reserves, and that investigations with the four Libyans had begun with them on charges of infiltrating Chad.
It is to be noted that the Libyan-Chadian border strip is rife with smuggling of fuel and drugs, illegal immigration, hunting birds and deer, and Libya suffers from an influx of armed separatist groups from many neighboring countries.
