Presidential Council during extraordinary meeting: Whoever bears arms, his weapon is directed at the chests of his compatriots.

  Tripoli, 28 August 2022 (Lana) The Presidential Council has alerted all those who bear arms that their weapons are aimed at the chests of their compatriots, that innocent women, men and children are at the forefront of their would be victims, and that their gun fire will damage private and public property.

This came at the extraordinary meeting the Council held on Sunday to discuss the latest developments, which the President began by paying tribute to the lives of innocent civilians who died as a result of the bloody clashes in Tripoli yesterday.

According to the Council’s Communication Office, the Presidential Council has urged everyone, to assume their responsibilities for the stability of the homeland and saving the country possible war, stressing that it is taking firm steps towards stability and national reconciliation, and that it will not overdo the gains in terms of ending the political division and unifying institutions.
