GNU Minister of Finance affirms that the organization of the Forum of Development Partners in Libya testifies to beginning of the recovery phase for Libya politically and economically.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 24 August 2022 (Lana) GNU Minister of Finance Khaled Al-Mabrouk, said that the organization of the Development Partners Forum in Libya is the best testimony to the start of the recovery phase for Libya politically and economically.
In remarks he made at the opening session of the Forum Development Partners which kicked off here on Wednesday, Al-Mabrouk said stability of the economic and financial situations needs more technical and logistical support by international organizations, of which Libya is a member, led by the World Bank for its experience and ability to provide support in all fields.
He said that this forum aims to put forward visions and ideas that enable Libya to revive the state of recovery of the national economy, mitigate the effects of external shocks to our economy and help us technically, to achieve development goals in accordance with the visions of achieving spending efficiency.
He explained that the World Bank wants to help Libya in all fields, especially in the health and electricity sectors, pointing out that the problem facing Libyan ministries and institutions and the Bank is the loss of the communication process, calling on all parties to communicate with the World Bank and that the Ministry of Finance as a member of the World Bank Group will be the link between them.
