The director of the ambulance service in Kufra, in a statement to (LANA): The liberation of (300) immigrants who were detained by an international gang in Tazerbu.

Kufra, August 20, 2022 (LANA) - The Director of the Emergency and Ambulance Service in Kufra, "Ibrahim Belhassan," stated that the Kufra Illegal Migration Center was able to free (300) illegal immigrants who were detained in Tazerbo.

"Bilhassan" told the Libyan News Agency that after taking permission from the Public Prosecution of Kufra, the Center for Illegal Migration raided a den of immigration dens in Tazerbu, and there were approximately (300) immigrants inside, who were detained in one room and were subjected to various types of torture, in addition to to the arrest of 7 foreigners who were supervising acts of torture.

Belhassan pointed out that among the migrants from Eritrea and Somalia are (3) women and (100) minors between the ages of 10 to 16 years, indicating that the gang that detained them was planning to sell and trade them after robbing them of their money and property.

In his statement to (LANA), "Belhassan" explained that the Kufra Hospital and Tropical Medicine Center launched a medical convoy at the shelter center where the migrants are located, to examine them and ensure their safety, given their tragic health condition as a result of torture and malnutrition.
