Eye Hospital performs more surgeries for glaucoma patients within the localization of treatment at home.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 14 August, 2022 (Lana) - Surgical operations for glaucoma patients continue to be performed at the Eye Hospital in Tripoli through the visiting doctor project and the Ministry of Health's plan to localize treatment in the country.
The hospital administration stated that in coordination with the visiting Egyptian doctor Ahmed Mustafa, 25 different eye surgeries were performed on Friday, in addition to performing 24 urgent surgeries for glaucoma patients of different ages as part of the treatment plan in the country.
According to the hospital, the Egyptian visiting doctor at the Tripoli Eye Hospital, Ahmed Mustafa examined infected cases inside the hospital to support national cadres and specialists in providing the best medical services to patients.
This comes in implementation of the Visiting Doctor Programme launched by the Ministry of Health in the Government of National Unity, with the aim of providing appropriate treatment within Libyan territory, and exchanging experiences between Libyan doctors and visiting doctors.
