Al Dabaiba on the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Libyan Army: The Libyan Army is our army and the protector of all Libya, its mission was, still is and will remain to preserve our dignity and the integrity of our borders.

     Tripoli, 10 August 2022 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Defense Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba congratulated members of the Libyan Army on the occasion of the 82 nd anniversary of its founding.

Al Dabaiba said, in a speech delivered at the ceremony held this evening in Martyrs' Square in Tripoli on the 82nd anniversary of the establishment of the Libyan Army, in the presence of the President of the Presidential Council Mohammed Al-Mnefi and the deputies of the Council Abdullah Al-Lafi and Musa Al-Koni and the Chief of the General Staff General Mohammed Al-Haddad that this army was born to be loyal to God and then the homeland, and its goal is to protect our dear country, an army with a long history of decades in which distinguished officers and soldiers deserve to be honored for their service to the homeland and the citizen.

He added, "The Libyan army, as a long-standing institution, is our army and the protector of the protection of all Libya, and that its mission was, is and will continue to be to preserve our pride, dignity and the integrity of our land, sea and air borders, calling for the unification of ranks and learning from the experiences of the past for those who wave war, and that he is confident that the Libyan army will not cause new wars that destroy the country, saying that we must pass through our country for stability and our slogan is security, peace and science. Dabaiba pointed out that the national entitlement that guarantees the peaceful rotation of power must be conducted through free and fair elections that achieve the hopes of this people for stability, development and a decent living.
