On the anniversary of founding of the Libyan Army ,the HCS stresses need to continue unifying institutions of the real Libyan Army.

Tripoli 10 August 2022 (Lana)-the High Council of State "HCS" ,confirmed the right of the Libyan people to demand a unified Army that protects the homeland ,the people ,and borders ,and maintains Libya's security and sovereignty.

The Council stressed, in a statement published yesterday on the 82nd anniversary of founding of the Libyan Army, the need to continue unifying the institutions of the real Libyan Army ,supporting and strengthening it according to sound national basis , provided its loyalty to the homeland ,and work under the command of a civilian power elected by the Libyan people ,without interfering in internal political affairs.

The HCS pledged in a statement posted to its SMS page commitment not to allow return to restrictions again, or to dominate the military institution by an individual party ,and urged to work according to a clear roadmap and an agreed constitutional basis, to form a unified professional military institution that protects state institutions.
